Professional License Agreement

The NORYT Professional License is designed to give you broad freedom to use our products in your own work while protecting the intellectual property that makes those products valuable. This page summarizes your rights and responsibilities. If you have questions about a specific use case, please contact us.

Our goal is simple: we want you to use these resources to build better systems, deliver better work, and create more value for your business and your clients.

The Professional License gives you broad rights to use, modify, and adapt your purchase while protecting the intellectual property that makes these products valuable.

What You Can Do

Your Professional License includes the following rights.

Personal Use

You may use the product for your own personal projects without limitation.

Internal Business Use

You may use the product within your own business, regardless of the number of internal projects created.

Client Work

You may use the templates, systems, prompts, workflows, and documentation to create deliverables for your clients.

Ownership of your completed work remains yours or your client's, as applicable.

Modification

You may edit, customize, expand, remove, combine, translate, or otherwise modify the purchased materials for your own use.

AI-Assisted Use

You may use AI tools to help create, modify, summarize, extend, or improve documents based on the purchased materials.

Multiple Devices

You may install and use the purchased files on all devices owned or controlled by you.

Lifetime Product Updates (when applicable)

If lifetime updates are included with your purchase, you may download all future updates to that specific product at no additional cost.

What You May Not Do

The Professional License does not allow redistribution of the original intellectual property.

Specifically, you may not:

  • Resell the original templates or documents.

  • Redistribute the original files.

  • Upload the files to public repositories or download sites.

  • Share the product with individuals or organizations that have not purchased their own license.

  • Include the original files in another commercial product.

  • Sell modified versions of the templates as templates.

  • Claim ownership of the original NORYT materials.

  • Remove copyright notices where applicable.

  • Use the materials to create a competing template library or documentation product.

Ownership

All copyrights, trademarks, methodologies, layouts, templates, documentation, prompts, workflows, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of NORYT.

Purchasing a product grants you a license to use the materials—it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

Client Deliverables

You may deliver completed documentation created with these templates to your clients.

Examples include:

  • Product Requirements Documents

  • Architecture Documentation

  • Engineering Specifications

  • Technical Design Documents

  • Meeting Notes

  • Roadmaps

  • Checklists

  • Standard Operating Procedures

Your clients receive ownership of the completed deliverables you create.

They do not receive ownership or redistribution rights to the original NORYT templates.

Clients may receive completed deliverables created using the templates, but they may not receive the original editable NORYT source files unless they hold their own valid license.

Team Use

The Professional License permits use by the purchaser and members of the purchaser's organization solely for the organization's internal business operations. The license may not be shared with unrelated organizations or third parties that have not obtained their own license.

If your organization requires large-scale deployment, enterprise-wide distribution, or other expanded usage rights, please contact us regarding an Enterprise License.

Enterprise License

Organizations with broader licensing needs may request an Enterprise License.

Enterprise licensing may include:

  • Organization-wide deployment

  • Centralized distribution

  • Procurement support

  • Custom licensing terms

  • Volume purchasing

Reseller and OEM Licensing

Redistribution, resale, bundling, white-label use, OEM licensing, marketplace distribution, and similar commercial redistribution rights are not included with the Professional License.

Organizations interested in these rights should contact us to discuss a Reseller or OEM License.

Disclaimer

The products are provided "as is."

While every effort has been made to ensure quality and accuracy, NORYT makes no guarantee that the materials are suitable for every specific use case.

You are responsible for reviewing and adapting the materials for your own projects.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NORYT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the products.

NORYT's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

Changes to this License

We may update this license from time to time.

The version included with your purchase governs your use of that purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Governing Law

This License shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement

This License constitutes the complete agreement between NORYT and the purchaser regarding the licensed product and supersedes any prior understandings relating to that product.
